TVN’s drama “Castaway Diva” has now entered the weekend rating competition.
On October 28th, the new romantic comedy starring Park Eun Bin, Chae Jong Hyeop, and Cha Hak Yeon (N) from VIXX started off with a promising beginning.
According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of “Castaway Diva” claimed the top spot in its time slot across all cable channels with an average national rating of 3.2 percent.
Meanwhile, MBC’s drama “My Dearest” continued its upward trend. The series has now achieved its highest viewership ratings for the second part they released. The new episodes of this historical romantic tale averaged a national rating of 12.0 percent.
The drama now holds the top position in its time slot across all channels and is the most-watched drama on its network.
The Saturday broadcast of “My Dearest” appealed to the key demographic of viewers, with an average rating of 3.7 percent among viewers aged 20 to 49.
SBS’s “The Escape of The Seven,” sharing the same time slot with “My Dearest,” has reached an average national rating of 5.6 percent.
JTBC’s “Strong Girl Nam Soon” has slightly decreased to an average national rating of 8.4 percent, but it still maintains its top position in the time slot across all cable channels.
Lastly, KBS 2TV’s “Live Your Own Life” remains the most-watched program on Saturdays, with an average national rating of 14.7 percent.
