The “Wife” MV, which serves as a pre-release single for their second album, was dropped on January 22, 2024, at 00:00 KST.

The pre-release single “Wife” is a song self-produced by GIDLE’s leader, Jeon Soyeon.

By “pushing,” it means encouraging other GIDLE members to step out of their comfort zones because in the song “Wife,” Shuhua, Minnie, Miyeon, and Yuqi are required to perform rap. The rap section is usually handled by Soyeon, who is the main rapper in the GIDLE group.
However, in the song “Wife,” the other four members, Shuhua, Minnie, Miyeon, and Yuqi, are seen rapping throughout the song.
