NewJeans is set to grace the stage at the Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs).

This marks their milestone as the first K-pop girl group to perform on the prestigious BBMAs stage.

The Billboard Music Awards announced that NewJeans will be featured performers on November 8, 2023.

The official announcement was made through Billboard’s official social media channels.

NewJeans will be making their debut appearance at the Billboard Music Awards since their debut.

They are expected to showcase two of their hit songs, “Super Shy” and “OMG,” both of which have secured a place on the Billboard Hot 100 this year.

NewJeans follows in the footsteps of BTS as they become the first female group and the fastest overall K-pop group to perform at the Billboard Music Awards.

Having debuted just 1 year and 3 months ago, they have now been selected to perform on this prestigious stage.

Their presence on the Billboard charts this year has been remarkable with their mini album “Get Up.”

They set a new record by reaching No.1 on the Billboard 200 main album chart in the fastest time.

Five of their songs have entered the Hot 100, and their achievements have earned them the most nominations, including:

NewJeans is now the only K-pop group nominated, competing against top artists such as Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, and Bad Bunny.
