All members of BLACKPINK, including Jennie, Jisoo, Rose, and Lisa, have received the honorary title MBE bestowed directly by King Charles III.
The title was awarded due to BLACKPINK influence in actively participating in the United Nations campaign advocating the importance of taking action on climate change.
Interestingly, one BLACKPINK member, Rose, received the full honor of the MBE title, or Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.

The other members, Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa, received the MBE title as an honorary title only because they are foreign nationals.
Meanwhile, Rose, who holds dual citizenship and is a citizen of New Zealand, which is part of the British Commonwealth, received the title with full honors and officially became a part of the Order of the British Empire.
Notably, with the MBE title, Rose receives several privileges, one of which is the ability to hold her wedding at St. Paul’s Cathedral, London.

St. Paul’s Cathedral is one of the preferred cathedrals for events such as weddings for the British Royal Family.
St. Paul’s Cathedral also served as the venue for the grand and phenomenal wedding of King Charles III and his former wife, Lady Diana.
According to information from the official website of St. Paul’s Cathedral, they have set conditions where all weddings held in the cathedral require a special license from the Archbishop of Canterbury, so not just anyone can get married there.
However, they can make exceptions for weddings of individuals who are part of the Order of the British Empire, such as Rose BLACKPINK.
In addition to Rose, the privilege of holding weddings at St. Paul’s Cathedral will also be passed down to Rose’s future children.
