KpopStar – The fraudster who sold tickets for IU and BLACKPINK concerts has finally been sentenced for his actions.
Mr. Kim, accused of fraud, has now been sentenced to 6 years in prison.
The allegations were made by Judge Lee Jong Min from the Central District Court in Seoul.
It is reported that Mr. Kim was involved in fraudulent activities over 130 times.
He conducted scams involving the sale of concert tickets through direct trading applications and online communities.
He placed ads and claimed to sell concert tickets from artists such as Lim Young Woong, BLACKPINK, and IU.
Between May and August 2022, he reportedly made fraudulent claims for Lim Young Woong’s concert tickets with 80 transactions.
The perpetrator earned up to 200 million Won from these transactions.
Not satisfied with his actions, he continued the fraud by offering IU concert tickets.
The fraud included placing ads for concert tickets, selling cameras, game currency reloads, and department store gift cards.

From his actions, Mr. Kim successfully committed fraud, accumulating a total of 496.44 million Won from 31 victims.
