Jinyoung B1A4 has joined the cast of the drama “Sweet Home 2.”
Jinyoung B1A4 is entrusted with portraying one of the important characters in “Sweet Home 2,” directed by Lee Eung Bok.
As one of the key characters, Jinyoung from B1A4 also attended the Sweet Home 2 press conference held on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
The Sweet Home 2 press conference took place at S-Factory Building D, Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul.

The event was held in the morning and featured Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Go Min Si, Lee Si Kyung, Jinyoung from B1A4, Yoo Oh Seong, Kim Moo Yeol, and director Lee Eung Bok.
During the press conference, Jinyoung and director Lee Eung Bok talked about the inspiration behind the new characters in Sweet Home 2.
Jinyoung, who recently joined this season, will play the character named Park Chan Young.
Lee Eung Bok revealed that he created the character Park Chan Young for Jinyoung. Not present in the webtoon version, director Lee Eung Bok said, “I created the character Park Chan Young based on Jinyoung’s personality.”
“I wanted to have a friend who upholds standards and rules even in a world that is broken,” expressed Lee Eung Bok. The director of Sweet Home 2 added, “And it turns out I found it in real life, namely Jinyoung. I created the character with a lot of help from Jinyoung.”

The characteristics and attitude of the character Park Chan Young in Sweet Home 2 are taken from Jinyoung’s real-life personality and attitude.
Jinyoung, portraying Park Chan Young, is a soldier responsible for transporting survivors from Green Home. From the beginning, Park Chan Young’s attention is drawn to Lee Eun Yu (Go Min Si), a survivor with unpredictable behavior.
Until Lee Eun Yu is transported and moved to a new place, Park Chan Young always worries and follows the presence of this stubborn girl.
“I feel honored. During filming, I had the expectation that this drama would surely do well,” expressed Jinyoung.
This B1A4 member added, “Because I am a new character, I thought I would feel comfortable just hearing that ‘Jinyoung did a great job by joining.'”
Sweet Home 2 will return with a more complex and exciting story and characters compared to the previous season.
This Netflix original series directed by Lee Eung Bok will be aired tomorrow on December 1, 2023.
