All members of BTS have been reported to have sold their entire HYBE shares. According to a report from DART (Electronic Disclosure System) by the South Korean financial supervisory service on November 14, all BTS members sold their HYBE shares on the stock exchange on September 20.
Based on the closing stock price on September 20, valued at 243,000 Won, BTS members, including Jin, J-Hope, RM, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, made billions of Won in profits through the sale of these shares.
It is known that each BTS member owned tens of thousands of HYBE shares, with an average ownership of around 60,000 shares. The following are the results of HYBE stock sales by all BTS members in Korean currency:
- Jin: 12.7 billion Won (52,385 shares)
- J-Hope: 15.3 billion Won (62,784 shares)
- RM: 14.1 billion Won (58,000 shares)
- Suga: 16.6 billion Won (62,784 shares)
- Jimin: 16.6 billion Won (68,385 shares)
- V/Kim Taehyung: 16.6 billion Won (68,385 shares)
- Jungkook: 16.6 billion Won (68,385 shares)
In total, the entire BTS members’ sale of HYBE shares amounted to 108.5 billion Won.

With the sale of all shares owned by Jin, J-Hope, RM, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, it also marks the end of the special relationship between all BTS members and HYBE.
Not only BTS, but the share ownership of HYBE founder Bang Si Hyuk is also reported to have decreased. According to HYBE’s report on November 14, the share ownership status of Bang Si Hyuk has decreased to 21,429,024 (51.42%) from the previous 24,322,584 shares (58.07%) as of June 30, 2023.
The simultaneous sale of shares by all BTS members has garnered various reactions from Knetz:

Meanwhile, all BTS members have renewed their contracts for the second time together with BigHit, which is under the umbrella of HYBE Labels.
